Role Overview
As an Intermediate Accountant at Kelly+Partners Penrith, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality accounting and tax services. The team provides strong support and ongoing training, allowing you to build confidence, capability, and autonomy at a steady pace.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely mannerTake lead in the preparation Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFsPrepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trustsPrepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliationsBe coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clientsLiaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clientsHelp provide an exceptional service to our clientsParticipate in training seminars, team meetings and social eventsOffer support and training to junior team members
What You Bring
You take pride in producing high‑quality work, enjoy being part of a supportive team, and are looking to build a stable, long‑term career within a professional practice.
2+ years’ full-time experience in a Chartered Accounting or professional services environmentCA qualified or currently undertaking CA studiesBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related fieldFamiliarity with MYOB AE, APS, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar systems (or the ability to learn quickly)Strong communication, organisational, and time‑management skillsA client‑first mindset and commitment to delivering quality outcomesAbility to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and take initiativeA genuine desire to grow and contribute within a high‑performing team
