Make a Real Impact in a Supported Independent Living Home 

Zenn Ability is currently looking for experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team supporting participants in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home in Western Sydney

This role is suited to support workers who have hands-on experience in SIL environments or supporting participants with complex behaviours and who are confident working within structured routines and behaviour support plans. 

Our participants benefit most from reliable, consistent workers who can build strong rapport and work well within a team-based environment. 

About the Role 

You will be supporting participants with daily living activities, personal care, community access, and maintaining structured routines within the home. 

The current shifts available require the successful candidate to be available for the following shifts: Early morning (6:00am starts) Afternoon (12:00pm) evening (5:00pm) and inactive sleepovers (5:00pm - 9:00am)

Key Responsibilities 

  • Supporting participants with personal care and daily living tasks 
  • Encouraging independence and life skills development 
  • Supporting community access and social engagement 
  • Following behaviour support plans and structured routines 
  • Completing progress notes and documentation 
  • Working collaboratively with other support workers in the home 

About You 

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

  • Minimum 6 months experience working in a SIL house or supporting participants with complex behaviours 
  • Confidence working within structured environments and behaviour support plans 
  • Availability to work across a 24/7 roster, including sleepover shifts 
  • Ability to work a minimum 6-hour shift across the roster when required Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays 

Essential Requirements 

  • Working with Children Screening Check 
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check 
  • Current First Aid & CPR (HLTAID011) 
  • National Police Check
  • Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance 
  • Working rights in Australia
