About the role

We are seeking an experienced Landscape & Civil Construction Foreman to join our team at GJs Landscape & Civil. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all site activities, ensuring the successful delivery of landscape and civil construction projects.

• Lead, supervise, and motivate construction teams on-site to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.

• Read, interpret, and implement construction plans, drawings, and technical specifications accurately.

• Apply extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment to achieve project goals.

• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Resolve on-site challenges efficiently, making informed decisions under pressure.

• Maintain clear communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

• Significant experience as a Landscape or Civil Construction Foreman, with a strong track record of completed projects.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams effectively.

• Proficient in construction methods, materials, and equipment, and a thorough understanding of relevant safety standards.

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications accurately.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Relevant construction qualifications such as Certificate III in Landscape Construction or Certificate IV in Civil Construction.

• Current Driver’s Licence and WHS Whitecard
