Early Childhood Trainee

Explore & Develop Penrith is seeking an enthusiastic Trainee.

About the role

Bringing your passion for working with children, you will be pivotal to our centre's success, our team-based culture and achieving our standard of excellence.

You will work with a team of dedicated educators and assistants to create a stimulating, positive and inclusive environment that reflects the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) whilst maintaining the elements of the National Quality Standards (NQS).

Essential Attributes of this role:

• Appropriate liaising with parents whilst maintaining confidentiality
• Learning about record keeping, compliance and programming
• Ensure the safety & well being of all stakeholders (children, educators and families)
• Commitment to ongoing learning and self-development, innovation and motivation
• Have genuine enthusiasm and passion for the profession
• Demonstrate strong commitment to high quality care.
• Demonstrate highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with the children, families and staff
• Come to us with a desire to grow professionally and personally
• Have the ability to learn everything you can about Early Learning

Essential Qualifications:

• Willingness to Undertaking certificate 3 in Children’s Services
• Current APPROVED work with children's check
