EMPOWER Early Learning Group is Hiring!

We are seeking Certificate III Trainee Educators to join our growing team of like-minded, passionate educators.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in Early Childhood Education, while being supported every step of the way through their studies and practical experience.

As part of your application, we ask that you include a cover letter telling us why you would be the perfect fit for EMPOWER.

WHY EMPOWER?
  • Above award wages

  • Flexible rostering, supporting positive work-life balance

  • RDO’s

  • Wellness evenings

  • Team bonding days

  • Off-site team meetings focused on connection, team building, and reflective practice

  • Extensive induction process with strong support, training, and mentoring

  • Ongoing professional development opportunities

  • Supportive, dedicated, and passionate leadership team

What is the ideal EMPOWER educator? What are we seeking from you?

As a Certificate III Trainee, you will be supported to complete your qualification while working within our services. We are looking for someone who:

  • Is committed to studying and completing their Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

  • Is motivated to learn, grow, and develop professionally

  • Is open to feedback, mentoring, and continuous reflection on practice

  • Can manage both work and study commitments with support from our team

  • You must have a warm, smiling face that makes every child feel special

  • You must be able to laugh at jokes you don’t understand (or don’t find funny!)

  • A little bit of quirkiness is preferred - if a child asks you to be a cat, you’ll be the best cat you can be

  • Singing in tune is optional, singing out of tune with confidence is essential

  • You must be able to quickly count the heads of many small, fast-moving humans

  • You’ll capture meaningful moments (and remember what was said… or be quick to document it!)

  • You must be comfortable leaving work with mystery substances on your clothes (it’s usually paint… usually)

  • You must reflect on practice in line with our philosophy, the Child Safe Standards, and the UN Rights of the Child

  • You must be comfortable discussing bodily functions (and responding to them quickly!)

  • You must be able to think creatively and plan (or go with the flow when needed)

  • You must build strong, engaging relationships with children

  • Pretending to eat playdough and drink endless cups of tea is required

  • You’ll be on your feet (10,000–20,000 steps a day - goodbye gym!)

  • You must be able to read a 10-page book with at least 4 interruptions per page

  • You’ll confidently use technology to document learning

  • You must communicate with kindness

  • You must be able to think on your feet and stay organised

  • You must be ready to have FUN - laughter is part of every day

Our Promise to You

We will:

  • Always be open to change

  • Put children first

  • Support you through your study and professional growth

  • Be flexible and work with you

  • Provide you with the time and support to succeed in your role

  • Be kind, supportive, and genuine

  • Create a workplace where you feel valued

There is simply no other job quite like this one.

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you
