About the role

Café Sana Leura is seeking an experienced Chef to join our team in Leura, NSW. This full-time role involves preparing high-quality Asian fusion café-style meals while leading kitchen operations to ensure a memorable dining experience for our valued guests.

What you’ll be doing

· Preparing a range of meals using high-quality ingredients

· Ensuring consistent presentation and quality of all dishes leaving the kitchen

· Overseeing kitchen operations, including stock management, staff rostering and food safety compliance

· Collaborating with the front-of-house team to align kitchen and customer service

· Continuously improving menu items and implementing new recipes

· Fostering a positive, productive kitchen culture and providing guidance to junior staff

About hours

· Full time

· Must be available to work weekends and public holidays

· Split shifts may be required

What we’re looking for

· Certificate IV in commercial cookery or equivalent

· Minimum 1year’s experience as a Chef

· Passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals

· Strong time management and multitasking skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent communication and leadership abilities to inspire and guide the kitchen team

· Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

· Flexible approach to adapting to changing business needs
