Practice Manager – Penrith (Experienced Candidates Only)

Tranquil Minds Psychology & Psychiatry Solutions (TMPPS)

Tranquil Minds Psychology & Psychiatry Solutions (TMPPS) is a well-established, multidisciplinary private mental health practice with over 30 years of service to the Sydney community.

We are currently seeking an experienced Practice Manager to take ownership of operations at our Penrith clinic. This is a key leadership role working closely with the Director to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, strong team coordination, and a high standard of patient care.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Penrith clinic
  • Leading, supporting, and coordinating administrative staff
  • Managing rostering, workflow, and front desk performance
  • Ensuring a high-quality patient experience across all touchpoints
  • Overseeing billing processes including Medicare, SIRA, NDIS, and private billing
  • Managing referrals, appointment flow, and practitioner coordination
  • Monitoring room utilisation and operational efficiency
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Supporting onboarding of new practitioners and service expansion

About You (Essential Requirements)

  • Proven experience as a Practice Manager in a healthcare setting (essential)
  • Demonstrated experience managing administrative teams
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of operations
  • Professional, calm, and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong understanding of healthcare administration processes

Highly Regarded

  • Experience in mental health or specialist medical practices
  • Familiarity with Gentu or similar practice management systems
  • Experience with Medicare, SIRA, NDIS or private billing workflows
